The Egawa lab is interested in gene regulation of lymphocytes in the context of infection and cancer. Ongoing work in the lab seeks to understand the cellular dynamics of CD4 and CD8 T cell responses to chronic infection, hierarchical interactions between transcription factors underpinning differentiation of stem-like and effector T cell populations, and transcriptional regulation of malignant B cell transformation.

We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels safe and respected, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or any other personal characteristic.

Congratulations to Yu Xia, a recent graduate of the lab, on receiving this year’s Spencer T. and Ann W. Olin Medical Fellowship award!
